A Gilmer, Texas man was seriously injured when he ran into the path of oncoming traffic on Interstate 70.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol traffic crash report, a 48-year-old man from Gilmer, Texas ran into the path of oncoming traffic on westbound I-70 near mile marker 193 at approximately 5:17 p.m. The man was subsequently struck by a 2013 Chevrolet Spark driven by a 45-year-old female from New Florence.
The man was transported by Warren County Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with serious injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of the occupants involved in injury crashes.
