Korman serves on the state’s Joint Committee on Transportation Oversight.Warrenton city officials had requested the new bridge be named after Dyer, who served as mayor from 2012 to 2014, and passed away after an illness in January 2015. The name was approved unanimously by the state committee.“I had the honor to make the motion to approve the naming request for the new overpass bridge,” Korman said. “Jerry Dyer was the local Shelter Insurance Agent for over 30 years. Before that he worked in both the Warrenton and Wright City school districts, and was also on the Warren County School Board as president.
