Outgoing Alderman Steven Cullom was defeated by challenger Christine Wait in the April 8 election. Cullom had served on the board since 2021.
“Alderman Cullom really worked hard at getting his points across and I appreciate the way he did it,” said Schlueter. “He didn’t do it yelling or screaming. He actually did it logically and turned a lot of ideas here as well. So I appreciate what you did and I appreciate the way he approached it.”
