One person was shot late Friday night, Dec. 7, on Country Cove Lane outside Wright City, emergency officials said.Country Cove Lane is just west of Wright City off of South Stracks Church Road.Warren County Ambulance Chief Tim Flake said a patient with a severe injury was transferred to a helicopter to be airlifted to treatment. He said the shooting might have been accidental, but that law enforcement are investigating.Officials with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department have not yet responded to a request for more information.However, a sheriff's department document detailing weekly incident reports includes that one person was arrested just after 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, for unlawful use of a weapon leading to the injury of another.
