One person was hurt in a crossover accident Tuesday on Interstate 70 where a tractor-trailer went through the center median and struck a second vehicle head-on.The accident was reported at 3:52 p.m. at the 196-mile marker, between Warrenton and Wright City, and caused the eastbound lanes to be closed for a short time.A westbound tractor-trailer driven by Kevin C. Davis, 56, of Litchfield, Ill., went through the cable barrier and entered the eastbound lanes, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Davis’ semi struck an eastbound tractor-trailer and then hit an eastbound 2001 Chevrolet Silverado.The driver of the Silverado, Tiffany J. France, 37, of Grain Valley, had moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis. All three drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.Driver suffers moderate injuries
