An O’Fallon man, 43, and a Wright City woman, 45, were traveling east on Interstate 70 in the early afternoon of Feb. 3 when the rear tire of their motorcycle became flat, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
They then lost control of the motorcycle and traveled off the left side of the road before overturning. Both passengers were ejected from the vehicle.
The Wright City woman sustained minor injuries in the accident as well and both were transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis via ambulance.
