An O’Fallon man faces second-degree domestic assault charges after allegedly biting his significant other several times during an argument.Ronald E. Hayes Jr., 52, faces his second domestic assault charge following an incident that left his girlfriend with bite marks and bruises after he allegedly attacked her July 5.According to a probable cause report by Warrenton Police Department Officer Rich Black, the investigation first began when a Missouri Highway Patrolman responded to a call at the 200 block of East Walton.During the investigation the victim showed officers bruises on her neck as well as a 2-inch bite mark on her face, which she said happened when Hayes allegedly grabbed her by the head with both hands and bit her on the face.Hayes was convicted of third-degree domestic assault in 2003. He is listed as in custody at the Warren County Jail on $10,000 bond.Crime
