William T. Jackson
1925 - 2010
William T. "Bill" Jackson, 85, Marthasville, passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 19, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis.
Mr. Jackson was born March 20, 1925, in Overland, the son of Charles L. Jackson and wife Mildred H., nee Quinn. He resided in Warren County for over 20 years.
Mr. Jackson was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Philippines during World War II.
He was engaged in farming and had retired from Continental Can Company in the early 1980s after 31 years.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Weldon Spring, Warren County Historical Society, National Wildlife Federation, a former council member of the University of Missouri Extension Council and a Farm Bureau member.
Mr. Jackson is survived by two sisters, Lorraine F. Hoffmann and husband LeRoy, and Mildred H. Gaertner and husband Walter; one nephew, Charles Hoffmann; three nieces, Barb Hoffmann, Mary Buckley and Helen Cooley; his longtime special friend, Garnette Hale; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, from 9-11 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, 945 Wolfrum Road, Weldon Spring, with funeral services following at 11 a.m. the church. Burial will follow at Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis.
Memorials to the church mortgage fund or Warren County Historical Society in care of Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services, 2115 Parkway Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376 are preferred.
The family is being served by Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services, St. Peters.
Eunice U. Seabaugh
1922 - 2010
Eunice U. Seabaugh, 88, Warrenton, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at her home.
Mrs. Seabaugh was born Feb. 7, 1922, in Lilbourn, the daughter of William Burke and wife Mary Ethel, nee Shoate.
She was united in marriage to Elza Seabaugh on Dec. 30, 1939, in Benton. To this union were born four children, Joe, Anne, Faye and Jean. They celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Mrs. Seabaugh was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elza Seabaugh on July 22, 1991, three brothers, one sister and one granddaughter, Deanna.
She is survived by one son, Joe Seabaugh and wife Barbara, Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Caroline Seabaugh, Rockford, Ill., Faye Pind and husband Michael, Picayune, Miss., and Jean Austin and husband John, Warrenton; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 20, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Warrenton, with the Rev. Tom Bray officiating.
Burial was on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Memorials to Fellowship Baptist Church soup kitchen or A.P.E.F. in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
The family was served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Ethel F. Jasper
1930 - 2010
Ethel F. Jasper, 80, Augusta, passed away Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at 12:10 a.m. at Cedarcrest Manor, Washington.
Mrs. Jasper was born May 17, 1930, in St. Charles, the daughter of Tony Aholt and wife Lidwina.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Augusta and member of ICC Quilters. She loved cooking, baking, fishing and playing cards.
Mrs. Jasper is survived by her husband, Wilbert "Whip" Jasper; three sons, Karl Jasper and wife Debra, Glen Jasper and Bernie Jasper and wife Sally; one daughter, Brenda Napier and husband Jim; four brothers, Jerome Aholt and wife Jane, Robert Aholt and wife Audrey, Tony Aholt Jr. and wife Carol and Wilbert Aholt and wife Kathy; four sisters, Laverne Rettke, Betty Peters and husband Jim, Anna Schultze and husband Ken and Marie Noelker and husband Leon; one sister-in-law, Shirley Aholt; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Aholt Sr.; her mother, Lidwina Aholt; one brother, John Aholt; and one brother-in-law, Dale Rettke.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 20, at Immaculate Conception Church, Augusta.
Burial was in the church cemetery.

Funeral services for Lucy Ann Turner, 50, Warrenton, were held Monday, Sept. 20, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Miss Turner died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis.
She is survived by her father, William Turner Sr.; one son, Geoffrey W. Wiss; one daughter, Leslie A. Wiss; other relatives and many friends.
The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Visitation for Cameron Hinson, 7 month old son of Nicholas Hinson and Tanya Johnson, Warrenton, will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, from 4-7 p.m. at Warrenton Wesleyan Church, South Highway 47, Warrenton. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church.
Cameron passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis.
He is survived by his parents, Nicholas Hinson and Tanya Johnson; three brothers, Nicholas Hinson Jr., Caden Hinson and Calvin Hinson; and other relatives.
The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Funeral services for Elger H. “Buck” Bockhorst, 84, Warrenton, were held Saturday, Sept. 18, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Mr. Bockhorst died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab, Jonesburg.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Shanks and husband David, and Beverly Lodatto; other relatives and many friends.
