Robert Aaron Hunt
1928 - 2010
Robert Aaron Hunt, 82, Marthasville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, at St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington.
Mr. Hunt was born Jan. 30, 1928, in St. Louis, the son of Ira A. Hunt and wife Ethel, nee Morton.
He was united in marriage to Laura Mae Smith on May 24, 1961, in St. Charles. They were married 49 years.
Mr. Hunt served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Daniel Boone American Legion Post 180 in Marthasville.
He was a roofer and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Pinckney.
Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Clifford, Richard and Ira.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Hunt, Marthasville; one son, Robert Hunt, Jonesburg; two daughters, Paula Pursley, Marthasville, and Lori Baker, Iberia; one brother, Jimmy Evers; four sisters, Ruth Brune, Helen Schwartz, Janet Evers and Rosemary Paubel; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Lichtenberg-Martin Funeral Home, Marthasville, with the Rev. Jeanne Lischer officiating.
Memorials to the family in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.

Nathan A. Denny
1987 - 2010
Nathan Austin Denny, 23, Warrenton, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.
Nathan was born July 11, 1987, in Stockton, Calif., the son of Ron Denny and wife Elizabeth, nee Valdez.
He was united in marriage to Heather Hite on July 27, 2007, in Warren County. They were married three years.
Nathan was a motor transportation operator for the U.S. Marine Corps serving at Camp Pendleton, Calif., and in Iraq.
He was a member of Faith Christian Family Church in Warrenton, and the New Song Community Church in California state.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ramon Valdez.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Ron and Elizabeth Denny, Warrenton; his wife Heather Denny, Warrenton; two brothers, Brandon Denny, Warrenton, and Isaac Denny, Rosebud; two sisters, Michaela Denny, Warrenton, and Atianna Denny, Rosebud; his grandparents, Lewis and Almedia Denny, Warrenton, and Bernice Valdez, St. Clair; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. at Faith Christian Family Church in Warrenton.

Dennis E.D. Begeman
1922 - 2010
Dennis Ernst Dietrich Begeman, 87, Marthasville, passed away Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at Cedarcrest Manor in Washington.
Mr. Begeman was born Oct. 18, 1922, in Berheimer, the son of Hermann Begemann and wife Hilda, nee Haase.
He was baptized on Nov. 11, 1922, by the Rev. C.F. Grabar and later confirmed on Sept. 26, 1937, by the Rev. F.E. Egger, both at St. Johns United Church of Christ Pinckney.
Mr. Begeman farmed the land his parents bought in Bernheimer next to the Begemann home place until he retired. After selling the farm, he purchased some acres of the Begemann farm where he lived until he went to the nursing home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Begeman is survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 16, from 10-11 a.m. at St. Johns United Church of Christ Pinckney. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jeanne Lischer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mary Jane Curlett
1918 - 2010
Mary Jane Curlett, 92, Danville, Ky., formerly of Warrenton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010.
Mrs. Curlett was born April 28, 1918, in St. Louis, the daughter of Walter Mischlispy and wife Elizabeth, nee Gibbons.
She was the widow of John Joseph Curlett.
Mrs. Curlett was a homemaker and a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Warrenton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Mrs. Curlett is survived by one son, John Curlett and wife Vickie, Oregon state; one daughter, Barbara Gillock and husband Scott, Harrodsburg, Ky.; four grandchildren, Christopher Curlett and wife Pamela, Gregory Curlett, Michele Genco and husband Justin, and Bradley Gillock; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Lippstadt Cemetery in Warrenton with the Rev. Jason Emmerson officiating.

Albert J. Taylor
1945 - 2010
Albert J. Taylor, 65, Warrenton, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at his home.
Mr. Taylor was born Jan. 1, 1945, in MacRay, Ark., the son of Lee Vincent Taylor and wife Bertha, nee Raines.
He was a truck driver and a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Herman Taylor, and two sisters, Rita Brown and Elizabeth Bauer.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Taylor, Warrenton; one son, Vincent Lee Taylor, St. Peters; one daughter, Tracie Lee Griffin and husband Michael, Warrenton; two brothers, Lee Taylor and Larry Taylor, both of St. Peters; two sisters, Martha Magby, Eolia, and Clair Fuhrmann and husband Jim, Warrenton; two granddaughters, Rachel Griffin and Shelbie Griffin; one sister-in-law, Mary Taylor, Jonesburg; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 13, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton, with the Rev. Steve Dull officiating. Burial was private.

Adelia M. Knarr

Adelia "Dolly" M. Knarr, 96, Warrenton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at her home.
Mrs. Knarr was born March 12, 1914, in Warren County, the daughter of Emil Carroz and wife Elma, nee Eick.
She was united in marriage to Leonard Henry Knarr on May 29, 1940, in St. Louis. They celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Mrs. Knarr was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time taking care of her animals and being out on her property.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard, on Sept. 14, 2002, four brothers, Albert, Clarence, Fred and Oscar, and two sisters, Pat and Elsie.
Mrs. Knarr is survived by one son, Presley Knarr, Warrenton; one brother, Elmer Carroz and wife Delores, Jonesburg; one sister-in-law, Belva Carroz, Warrenton; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 10, at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton, with the Rev. Darryl Bockting officiating. Burial was in the Warrenton City Cemetery.

Mrs. Meuth died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Parklane Nursing and Rehab.
She is survived by two daughters, Cleo Hamilton and Sharon Studdert; other relatives and many friends.

Mr. Olson died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at Park Lane Nursing and Rehab.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Olson; two sons, Kevin Olson and wife Maria, and Kenneth Olson and wife Denise; four daughters, Carol Figus and husband Kirk, Janice Bohn and husband Michael, Lynn Olson and husband Michael Keegan, and Kimberly Hollenbeck and husband Jeffrey; other relatives and many friends.

Mr. Weatherford died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010.
