1939 - 2010

 Madeleine S. Boos, 70, Warrenton, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington. 

Mrs. Boos was born Dec. 31, 1939, in St. Louis, the daughter of Elmer Ries and wife Sue, nee Dalton.

She was a bookkeeper. She loved life to the fullest and loved her husband and children.

Mrs. Boos was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Janet Misbauer, two brothers, Daniel Ries and John Ries, and one sister, Virginia Grabowski.

She is survived by her husband, James Boos, Warrenton; three sons, David Boos and wife Kathy, Florissant, John Boos and wife Maria, Union City, Calif., and Thomas Boos and  Misty Lindhorst, Foley; nine daughters, Nancy Zykan and husband John, and Susan Kertz, all of Greenville, Ill., Mary Kathryn Benjamin, Florissant, Lauren Krigbaum and husband Terry, Pendleton, Mary Pat Boos, California state, Patricia Hill and David Grimm, Jonesburg, Sharon Bennett and husband Mark, Warrenton, Margaret Roach and husband Wayne, Wellsville, and Barbara McVey and husband Bill, Troy; one brother, Charles Ries and wife Sandy, St. Louis; three sisters, Susan Horton and husband Bill, Park Hills, Kathy Tesson and husband Harold, and Johanna Budt and husband Charles, all of St. Louis; 32 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one goddaughter, Kimberly Brady and husband Sean, St. Louis; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 7, from 1:30-8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47, Warrenton. 

 Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton, with the Rev. Bill Thess officiating. Burial will follow in the Warrenton City Cemetery. 

 Memorials in her memory to American Cancer Society in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred. 

 The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.

Visitation for Carol Ann Klein, 70, Wentzville, will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, from 9-11 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Eternal Peace Cemetery, Wentzville.

Mrs. Klein died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Progress West in O’Fallon. 

She is survived by four sons, Kenneth Klein, Daniel Klein, Robert Klein and William Klein III; one daughter, Kimberly McCarty; other relatives and many friends. 

The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.

 

Memorial services for Gayle Ann Majed, 62, formerly of Treloar, were held Saturday, Oct. 2, at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, Tenn.

Ms. Majed died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at Alive Hospice, Nashville, Tenn. 

She is survived by her parents, Rudy and Mary Hoelscher; one daughter, Kimberly Scudder and husband Jerry; other relatives and many friends.

The family was served by Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, Tenn.

 

Funeral services for Martin A. Schulz, 28, Warrenton, will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. 

Mr. Schulz died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010. 

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Schulz; his brother, Michael; other relatives and many friends. 

The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.

 

Funeral services for Wilbert J. Laumeier, 78, St. Ann, will be held Monday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.

Burial will be in the Augusta City Cemetery.

Mr. Laumeier died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Laumeier, St. Ann; one son, John Laumeier and wife Denise, St. Ann; three daughters, Carolyn Pugh and husband Lynn, St. Peters, Patricia Collings and husband Gary, St. Clair, and Carla Byington and husband Mike, Troy; other relatives and many friends.

The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta.
