Mary L. Eckard 1933 — 2011 Mary Lorraine Eckard, 78, Troy, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, in Elsberry. She was born April 5, 1933, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Morton Mason and wife Gertrude. On July 18, 1953, Mrs. Eckard was united in marriage to Billie Van Eckard in Oklahoma City, Okla. He preceded her in death April 16, 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morton Mason and wife Gertrude; her husband, Billie Van Eckard; three sons, William “Billy” Eckard and Timothy Eckard and an infant son; four brothers, Francis, Harold, Raymond and Billy; and one granddaughter, Hannah Kemper. She is survived by two daughters, Laura “Patty” Towner and Rebecca “Becky” Kemper and husband Clark, all of Warrenton; one son, Richard “Rick” Eckard, St. Charles; one daughter-in-law, Judi Hustermann, Troy; one sister, Betty Robinson and husband Willard, Hermitage; 12 grandchildren, Allen and Erin Eckard, Charles and April Barnes, Leslie Scholte and Mike Eckard, Noah, Caleb and Josh Kemper, Theresa, Rick and Tim Eckard and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 15, at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home, Troy. Burial was the following day at Kidwell Cemetery, Marthasville. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Elsberry Health Care Center in care of Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home, P.O. Box 222, Troy, MO 63379 are preferred. Funeral services for Donald Spellbrink, 64, Warrenton, were held Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Mr. Spellbrink died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis. Burial was at Bethany Cemetery in Winfield. He is survived by his mother, Esther Spellbrink, Warrenton; and one daughter, Theresa Brown and husband Richard, Woodson Terrace; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services for Gary Schuster, 51, Marthasville, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Femme Osage United Church of Christ, Femme Osage. Mr. Schuster died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011 at his home in Marthasville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dallas Schuster, Marthasville; three sons, Jamey Schuster, Colbey Schuster, both of Marthasville, and Zach Rudolph, Union; two daughters, Chelsi Woehlke and husband Shaun, Wentzville, and Ashley Rudolph, Washington; other relatives and many friends. The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Funeral services for Judy Culver Farmer, 89, Warrenton, were held Sunday, Oct. 16, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Mrs. Culver died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at Warrenton Manor in Wright City. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis. She is survived by two sons, James Farmer and wife Carole, Warrenton, and Gerald Farmer and wife Linda, Wentzville; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
