Obituaries for Thursday, November 19 Edition Frank Clay Lamb 1927-2009 Frank Clay Lamb, 82, Warrenton, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis. Mr. Lamb was born Aug. 1, 1927, in Steele, the son of Clay Lamb and wife Frankie Elouise, nee Erwin. On Sept. 10, 1946, in St. Louis, he was united in marriage to Joann Marie Kreps. They were married 62 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II. Mr. Lamb was employed as a tractor-trailer driver for Bemac Transport in St. Louis. He was a member of the American Legion and past member of Mountainview Baptist Church, both in Colorado. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joann, on May 28, 2009, two sons, Roger Alan and Thomas Edward, and one brother, Lynn Edward. He is survived by three sons, Douglas Clay Lamb and wife Donna, Florissant, John Lamb and wife Nancy, Louisville, Colo., and David Lamb, Flowery Branch, Ga.; one daughter, Laura Matthews and husband Walt, Urbana, Va.; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Lamb, Broken Arrow, Okla.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10-11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services will follow. Burial will be in Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorials to Missouri Baptist Home for the Aged in Ironton in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred. The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Margaret Woods 1922-2009 Margaret Watkins Woods, 87, Jonesburg, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at DePaul Hospital, Bridgeton. Mrs. Woods was born Dec. 17, 1922, on a farm north of Jonesburg, the daughter of Luther Watkins and wife Stella, nee Dunham. She attended Price's Branch School her first seven years. She graduated from Jonesburg High School in 1941. She joined the Price's Branch Christian Church in 1934. On April 4, 1942, at Wellsville Christian Church, she was united in marriage to Lanham Woods with the Rev. S. Morris Eames officiating. The couple lived in Warrenton where Mrs. Woods worked in the office of Binkley Manufacturing Company until October 1944 when they moved back to Jonesburg where she worked at the Jonesburg State Bank for 38 years. After moving to Jonesburg, she became a member of the Jonesburg Christian Church and was a member of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Jonesburg Eastern Star Chapter O.E.S. and served as Worthy Matron in 1952. They enjoyed traveling until Mr. Woods passed away in October 1999. They were married 57 years. Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Lanham, her parents, three brothers, Leroy Watkins, Forest (Tommy) Watkins and Clifford (Kip) Watkins, one sister, Martha Raccuia, and one sister-in-law, Nellie Watkins. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Fitzgerald, Columbia, and Diane Dinerstein, California state; four grandchildren, Lester Dinerstein and Laurie (Dinerstein) Platt, Ross (Beth) Fitzgerald and Christopher Fitzgerald; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Fitzgerald; one sister, Helen LaGree, Warrenton; one sister-in-law, Melba Harris; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends. She will be greatly missed by many. Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Harding Funeral Home, Jonesburg. Burial was in Jonesburg City Cemetery. Casket bearers were Brad, John and Bob Watkins, Gary Woods, Phil and Terry LaGree. Honorary casket bearers were Helen Rapp, Edith Witte, Charlotte Wright, Martha Shelton, Dorothy Witte, Von Barham, Dolly Hart and Joan Woods. The family was served by Harding Funeral Home, Jonesburg. Alma Watson The clock of life is wound but once and no man hath the power to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour. Alma Watson, nee Ebbesmeyer, lived until the late hour of life and passed peacefully in the company of her husband and family at the age of 81 on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009. She lived her life with devotion and commitment to her husband of 59 years, Roby Watson. Her presence is missed by him and her children, Mark, Tom, Mary Beth, Jean, Dan and Kevin, and their families who will continue to build on the foundations she provided. A memorial Mass was held Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Holy Rosary Church in Warrenton. Memorial donations may be made to Agape Ministry of Warrenton. The clock is now still and Alma is at rest. Thomas A. Null 1939-2009 Thomas A. Null, 70, Warrenton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at his home. Mr. Null was born Sept. 24, 1939, in St. Louis, the son of Arthur Elmer Null and wife Dorothy Mae, nee Marborough. On July 29, 1972, in Wright City, he was united in marriage to Doris A. Collins. They were married 37 years. Mr. Null was owner and operator of CJN Products, Inc. in Warrenton. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 2662, Warrenton. Mr. Null was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Doris Null, Warrenton; three sons, Scott Null and wife Darlene, Union, Shawn Null and wife Julie, and Tyler Null and wife, Debbie, all of Warrenton; two daughters, Shannon Von Allmen and husband Adam, West Plains, and Rachelle Frey and husband Tony, Warrenton; two sisters, Frances Sontag-Thompson and husband John, and Judith Beller, all of St. Louis; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Burial was in the Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorials to Samaritan's Purse International Relief, P.O. Harold Robert 1946-2009 Harold "Red" Robert, 63, Wright City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at his home. Mr. Robert was born Oct. 28, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Carroll J. Robert and wife Ida E., nee Hellwege. He was a document control engineer for Boeing Aircraft. Mr. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Robert, Wright City; one son, Thomas (Tommy) Robert, Wright City; two daughters, Laurie (Ron) Ferguson, St. Peters, and Kimberly Robert, Wright City; three brothers, Carroll "LeRoy" (Patricia) Robert, Redbud, Ill., Joseph (Mary) Robert and Patrick (Donna) Robert, all of Cape Girardeau; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 14, at St. John's United Church of Christ, Cappeln, with the Rev. Devin Jones officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Funeral services for Julianna Pauline Hausner, 89, Burlington, Iowa, formerly of Warrenton, were held Saturday, Nov. 14, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Warrenton. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hausner died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Burlington Care Center, Burlington, Iowa. She is survived by one son, William and his wife Judy; one daughter, Kristina and her husband Rick; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services for Robert Shillinger, 84, Marthasville, were held Saturday, Nov. 14, at Smith Creek United Methodist Church. Mr. Shillinger died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Leota Shillinger; two daughters, Carolyn Grube and husband Bob, and Marilyn Nelson and husband Bruce; other relatives and many friends.
