Obituaries for Thursday, May 6 Edition D. Darlyne Hauskins 1924-2010 Doris "Darlyne" Hauskins, 85, Jonesburg, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010, at New Florence Nursing and Care Center in New Florence. Mrs. Hauskins was born June 12, 1924, in Belleville, Ill., the daughter of Christian Stoecklin and wife Eda, nee Fischer. On July 28, 1946, she was united in marriage to Thomas Hauskins, in Belleville, Ill. They moved to the Jonesburg area approximately 60 years ago. Mrs. Hauskins worked as a clerk in The Market Basket in Jonesburg for many years. She was a member of the Jonesburg American Legion and the Dayball memorial VFW Auxiliary. She served for many years as an alderman on the Jonesburg Town Board. Mrs. Hauskins was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom, one daughter-in-law, Maxine "Mickey" Hauskins, one grandson, Duaine Hauskins and five siblings, Marie, Esther, Velma, Raymond and Viola. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Hauskins, Montgomery City; two daughters, Sharon Sanker and husband Don, Jonesburg, and Carla Cronin, Alton; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 28, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Jonesburg. Burial was in the Jonesburg City Cemetery. Casket bearers were Robert Dryden, Donald O'Keefe, Michael Reichert, Dorsey Stotler, Jerry Sauerwein and Dale Schlueter. Memorials to the church or Multiple Sclerosis Society of St. Louis in care of Harding Funeral Home, P.O. Box 186, Jonesburg, MO 63351 are preferred. Condolences for the family can be made at www.hardingfh.com. The family was served by Harding Funeral Home, Jonesburg. Robert F. Hoing 1932-2010 Robert F. Hoing, 77, Warrenton, passed away Friday, April 30, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond Heights. Mr. Hoing was born Nov. 11, 1932, in St. Louis the son of Joseph Hoing and wife Helen, nee Suttmoeller. He was a carpenter and a farmer. Mr. Hoing was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jerry Hoing, and one daughter-in-law, Phyllis Hoing. He is survived by his wife, Antoinette Hoing, Warrenton; two sons, Ed Hoing and wife Sharon, St. Peters, and Ken Hoing, Wentzville; one daughter, Marie Hahn and husband Randall, St. Peters; nine grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 4, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Warrenton, with the Rev. Bill Thess officiating. Burial was in Our Lady Cemetery in O'Fallon. Memorials to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Death Notices Funeral services for Eleanor E. Brand, 91, Wentzville, were held Wednesday, May 5, at Faith United Church of Christ, Wentzville. Mrs. Brand died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Breeze Park, St. Charles. She is survived by two sons, Robert "Bob" Brand and wife Naomi, and William "Bill" Brand and wife Lyndal; one daughter, Betty Bonnel and husband Maurice; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Funeral services for Kevin L. Korman, 58, Lake Saint Louis, were held Wednesday, May 5, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Mr. Korman died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at his home. He is survived by his daughter, Tara Korman; his mother, Mary Korman; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Funeral services for Austin Bradley Winter, infant son of Dustin and Elizabeth Winter, nee Blattel, Troy, will be held Thursday, May 6, at 10 a.m. at Zion United Methodist Church, Truxton. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 6, from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the church. Austin was born and passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. He is survived by his parents and other relatives. The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
