Obituaries for Thursday, March 18, 2010 Edition Donald Lee Wood 1950-2010 Donald Lee Wood, 59, Warrenton, passed away due to an accident on Sunday, March 14, 2010. Mr. Wood was born May 4, 1950, in Indianapolis, Ind., the son of Harry Lee Wood and wife Maxine Leona, nee Reinking. On March 4, 1995, in St. Peters, he was united in marriage to Sandy Lewis. They were married 15 years. Mr. Wood served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a team leader on the production line for General Motors for many years and a member of Warrenton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Wood is survived by his wife, Sandy Wood, Warrenton; three sons, Robert Wood and Donny Wood, both of Leoma, Tenn., and Jim Benny and wife, Jamie, Kansas City; two daughters, Lori Benny, Warrenton, and Angie Richardson, Leoma, Tenn.; one brother, Harry Wood and wife Linda, Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Johnnie Whitehead and husband, Darryl, Beaumont, Texas; eight grandchildren, Brad Benny, Bethany Benny, Clayton Marchand, Blain Duncan, Stephanie Gardner, Paige Richardson, Danny Richardson and Robert Allen Wood; two great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Benny and Corey Gardner; other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 19, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main, Warrenton, with the Rev. Dr. Larry Nail officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis. Memorials to Warrenton Baptist Church in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred. The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services for Roaul E. Somers, 89, Warrenton, were held Sunday, March 14, at Abundant Life Church, Warrenton. Mr. Somers died Tuesday, March 9, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Helen Somers; two stepchildren; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Timothy Laws, 43, Warrenton, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010, at his home. Mr. Laws is survived by his parents, Frank and Gloria Laws, nee Behrens; three brothers, Mark Laws and wife Rachel, Mike Behrens, and Bobby Laws; one sister, Tina Laws; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were private. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services for Angelina Rose Corso, nee Avenevoli, 96, Lake Saint Louis, will be held Thursday, March 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Wentzville. Burial will be in Calvery Cemetery, St. Louis. Mrs. Corso died Monday, March 15, 2010, at her home. She is survived by one son, Leonard Corso; two sisters, Annette Fisher and Sarah Vining; other relatives and many friends. The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Funeral services for Catherine "Cathy" Marie Adkins, 54, Troy, will be held Thursday, March 18, beginning at 10 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton. Mrs. Adkins died Monday, March 15, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Clifford Adkins; one son, Clifford Adkins and wife, Sherry; one daughter, Christina Richardson and husband, Michael; her father, Jermone Pragacz; other relatives and many friends.
