Juanita C. Adams 1925-2011 Juanita Catherine Adams, nee Bales, 85, Columbia, passed away Tuesday morning, March 8, 2011, at her home with her children by her side. Mrs. Adams was born Dec. 28, 1925, in Lexington, Okla., the youngest of 10 children of Paul Bales and wife Kitty Anne, nee Stickney. She married Bill Jo Adams of Bellflower on Sept. 7, 1944, in Yuma, Ariz. Juanita kept busy having three children and operating her own beauty salon next to her home. They loved to square dance, camp, boat and play cards. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Adams, one grandchild, Aron Adams, and all of her siblings. Mrs. Adams is survived by two sons, Paul Adams, Webster Groves, and Bill Jo Adams Jr., Columbia; one daughter, Sandra (Adams) Phillips, Columbia; four grandchildren, Chad and Sabrina Adams, Kyla (Adams) Mathis and Kimberly Hendren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 12, at Harding Funeral Home, Jonesburg. Burial was in the Bellflower City Cemetery. Wagener 1938-2011 Norma Jean Wagener, 72, Warrenton, passed away peacefully Friday, March 11, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Wagener was born Aug. 25, 1938, in St. Louis, the daughter of Norman Welfenberg and wife Jewell, nee Price. She was united in marriage to Roy Ronald Wagener on Sept. 21, 1957, in St. Louis. They celebrated 53 years of marriage. Mrs. Wagener was employed by Hussmann Fuse Company in St. Louis. She was a member of the Artisan Guild and the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs. Wagener is survived by her mother, Jewell Welfenberg, Warrenton; her husband, Roy Wagener, Warrenton; one son, Mark Wagener and wife Susan, Clovis, N.M.; two daughters, Carol Wagener and Jeannine Peca and husband Robert, all of St. Peters; one brother, Robert Welfenberg and wife Eva, Warrenton; one sister, Susan Kohrumel and husband Robert, Jonesburg; three grandchildren, Amanda and Adam Wagener and Lauren Peca; two nephews, Robert and Tony Welfenberg; one great-niece, Emma; one great-nephew, Roman; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services for Ryan Keith Garner, 30, Wright City, were held Monday, March 14, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Mr. Garner died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Creve Coeur. He is survived by his father, Ronald Garner; his mother, Margaret Garner; one son, Ryan John Garner; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Funeral services for Lawrence L. Jones, 74, Wright City, were held Wednesday, March 16, at Warrenton Baptist Church in Warrenton. Mr. Jones died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at his home. He is survived by his mother, Katherine Fox Jones; his wife, Patricia Jones; two sons, Kyle Keith and Dave Keith and wife Penny; other relatives and many friends. Mrs. Sellers died Friday, March 11, 2011, at Select Specialty Hospital, St. Charles. She is survived by two sons, Ron Sellers and wife Dianne, and Danny Deroy and wife Charlotte; two daughters, Donna Junte and Debbie Pollard and husband Mike; other relatives and many friends.
