Ottie Brock 1926-2011 Ottie Brock, 85, Warrenton, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011. Mr. Brock was born July 19, 1926, in Arkansas state, the son of Nellie Whitsett. He served his country during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery. He was owner of Ottie Brock Pontiac, Chevrolet and Oldsmobile in Warrenton. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2662 in Warrenton. He was preceded in death by his mother, one son, Richard Brock, and many aunts and uncles who were like siblings to him. Mr. Brock is survived by two sons, Robert Brock, St. Louis, and Matthew Brock, Warrenton; two daughters, Kathy Brock and Hannah Brock, both of St. Louis; one stepdaughter, Rachel Rivera and husband Rogelio, Kentucky state; eight grandchildren, Brianna, Robert, Camron, Olivia, Oscar, Elena, Vanessa and Leo; aunts; cousins; other relatives and many friends. A gathering will be held Thursday, July 28, from 4-6:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main, Warrenton, with a memorial service following at the funeral home. Evelyn Gay Kamper 1923-2011 Evelyn Gay Kamper, 88, Wright City, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital West, Chesterfield. Mrs. Kamper was born April 7, 1923, in New Florence the daughter of Carl Jasper Moore and wife Melvina Rachel, nee Greenwell. She was united in marriage to Harry Holman Kamper on Feb. 14, 1948, in Boonville. They celebrated 63 years of marriage. Mrs. Kamper was an executive at several Famous-Barr stores in the St. Louis area. She and her husband, Harry, were members of Friedens United Church of Christ in Warrenton many years ago. She was also a member of the Dorcas Society. Mrs. Kamper had a love for gardening and cooking and especially caring for her husband, daughter, grandchildren and most recently her great-grandson. Life always revolved around family and extended family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Naomi Gentry, Marie Kamper and Annie Landrum. Mrs. Kamper is survived by her husband, Harry H. Kamper, Wright City; one daughter, Christy Gay Siler and husband Gary, Mountain Brook, Ala.; four grandchildren, Lindsay Gay Siler, Jamie Vanessa Raker and husband Jesse, Cameron Christine Siler and Christopher Patrick Kamper Siler; one great-grandson, Kingston Penn Raker; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, from 10 a.m. until noon at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main, Warrenton, with services following at the funeral home. Robert James Lockhart, 62, Foristell, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011, at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton. Mr. Lockhart is survived by his mother, Mildred Lockhart; one son, John Lockhart; other relatives and many friends. No services are planned at this time.
