Carl M. Heidbrink
1936-2010
Carl M. Heidbrink, 73, Jonesburg passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab in Jonesburg.
Mr. Heidbrink was born Aug. 12, 1936, in Warrenton, the son of Raymond Heidbrink and wife Emma, nee Koelln.
He was employed for many years at Glidden Paint Company of St. Louis. He then had his own water hauling business. The past 21 years he helped his nephew, Donald Heidbrink, in the salvage yard business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Francis, Harold, Wesley and Leslie, and one sister, Irene Spyers.
Mr. Heidbrink is survived by three brothers, Lester Heidbrink, Willard Heidbrink and Allen Heidbrink, all of Warrenton; one sister, Doris Fritsche, Warrenton; his nephew, Donald Heidbrink; his great-niece, Meghan Lambert and great-nephew, Matthew Lambert, who will miss their "Gunkie"; nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and many friends.
His wishes were to be cremated with no funeral services.

Florence H. Vahle
1918-2010
Florence Henry Vahle, 91, lifelong resident of Warrenton, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis.
Mr. Vahle was born Dec. 17, 1918, in Warrenton, the son of Henry A. Vahle and wife Emma C., nee Windmann.
He was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Bebermeyer on June 10, 1955, in Warrenton. They celebrated 55 years of marriage.
Mr. Vahle was a farmer and carpenter. Upon retiring, he greatly enjoyed working in his shop. He was a member of Warrenton Wesleyan Church where he served on the church board for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Frank, and one sister, Lily Klausmeier.
Mr. Vahle is survived by his wife, Margaret, Warrenton; one niece, Melba Shaffer and husband Hal, Columbia; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, at 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton, with the Rev. Don Hodgson officiating. Burial will be in the Warrenton City Cemetery.
Memorials to the Warrenton Wesleyan Church or to Liberty Christian Academy in Wright City in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Funeral services for Robert “Bob” O. Fienup, 57, Defiance, were held Monday, July 19, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
Mr. Fienup died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Progress West Hospital, O’Fallon.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Fienup, nee Edwards; one son, Ken O. Fienup and wife Jan; one daughter, Amy Fienup; other relatives and many friends.
The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
