Lelen F. Paul 1925 - 2009 Lelen F. Paul, 83, Marthasville, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at his home. Mr. Paul was born Oct. 20, 1925, in New Melle, the son of Edwin Herman Paul and wife Meta Caroline, nee Prior. Mr. Paul served his country in the United States Army from 1946-1947. He served in the 555th Military Police Escort Guard Company in Tokyo, Japan, for seven months as an escort guard for Japanese war criminals of war in Sugamo Prison. He was a partner with his brother, Burton, in the Tuque Prairie Farms. He was a lifelong member of Friedens United Church of Christ, New Melle. Mr. Paul was a farmer and enjoyed hunting. He was also a member of the Pioneer Coon Club and the Wentzville American Legion Post 323. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Roger "Dickie" Paul; and one sister- and brother-in-law, Vivian Emma Joerling and husband Clarence. Mr. Paul is survived by one brother, Burton Paul and wife Linda, Marthasville; two sisters, Eunice Thiemann and husband Vernon, St. Charles, and Dera Mae Rehmeier and husband Layton, Augusta; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 11, at Friedens United Church of Christ, New Melle. Burial was in St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Cappeln. Memorials to American Heart Association or charity of donor's choice in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385 are preferred. Theodore Sundays Jr. 1971 - 2009 Theodore "Teddy" Sundays, Jr., 38, Marthasville, passed away Monday, July 13, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis. Mr. Sundays was born Jan. 21, 1971, in Creve Coeur, the son of Theodore F. Sundays Sr. and Mitzie, nee Mikulus. He was an apartment manager and was employed by S and S Utility Contractors. Mr. Sundays is survived by his father, Theodore F. Sundays Sr., Winfield; his mother, Mitzie Sundays, Marthasville; one daughter; one stepdaughter; his fiancee, Jennifer Guthrie, Marthasville; one sister, Kelly Marie Thweatt and fiance Joseph DeBishop, St. Louis County; one nephew, William Van Thweatt and wife Elise; his uncle, A.J. "Tony" Kochanski Jr., Marthasville; other uncles, aunts and cousins. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 16, from 4-8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47, Warrenton. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton with the Rev. Bill Thess officiating. Burial will be in A.J.K. Cemetery in Marthasville. Memorials to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred. The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Carol E. Myers 1954 - 2009 Carol Elaine Myers, nee Moeller, 54, died early Friday morning, July 10, 2009. Mrs. Myers was born Aug. 2, 1954, the daughter of Kermit Moeller and wife Mary. She is survived by her husband, Eric; her children, twins Matthew and Mark, twins Joseph and John, Carrie and Brian; her parents; and her sisters and brothers, Patricia, Rhonda, Kathleen, Larry, Karen, Linda and James. Graveside services were held Saturday, July 11, at the Wright City Cemetery. Pvt. Lucas M. Bregg 1990 - 2009 Pvt. Lucas M. Bregg, 19, Wright City, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009, while serving in Iraq. Pvt. Bregg was born May 9, 1990, in Florissant, the son of Michael Bregg and Tracie Green. Pvt. Bregg was a soldier in the U.S. Army. He had been serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom for five months and was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Calvary Regiment, 1st Calvary Division, Fort Hood, Texas. He entered into military service on July 16, 2008. Pvt. Bregg attended Francis Howell North High School before moving to Wright City during his senior year of school in 2008. He was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. Pvt. Bregg was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ernest Bregg and Michael Lee Bowling. He is survived by his father, Michael Bregg and wife Julie Watson-Bregg; his mother Tracie Green; his fiancee, Courtney Broyles; three brothers, Zachary Bregg, Colton Bregg and Taylor Bregg; grandparents, Joseph and Kathleen Green and Alice Bregg; step-grandparents, Cheri Stark and Mark G. Watson; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held Friday, July 17, from 4-9 p.m. at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 W. Clay St., St. Charles. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
