Rose M. Bradbury 1954-2011 Rose Marie "Rosie" Bradbury, 56, Lake Saint Louis, formerly of Warrenton, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Bradbury was born July 7, 1954, in St. Louis, to Harrison Bandy and wife Dorothy L., nee Howell. She was united in marriage to Patrick Bradbury for 34 years and they were together for 41 years. Mrs. Bradbury was a homemaker, vice president of B and D Furniture Company and a member of Warrenton Baptist Church. She had a love for singing and music and wants it to be known she has gone home to be with Jesus. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs. Bradbury is survived by her mother, Dorothy L. Allen, and stepfather, Bob Allen, Warrenton; her husband, Patrick Bradbury, Lake Saint Louis; two brothers, Harlan Bandy, Fredericktown, and Michael Bandy and wife Crystal, Jonesburg; two sisters, Brenda Miller, Lake Saint Louis, and Cindy McMenamy, Warrenton; two nephews, Dalton and Andy; four nieces, Candice, Kirslyn, Micha and Angelica Rose; one great-nephew, Dakota; other relatives and many friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, July 8, from 4-8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home Warrenton. Funeral services were Saturday, July 9, at Warrenton Baptist Church with burial at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Warrenton Baptist Church in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Carolyn Joost Smith 1935-2011 Carolyn Joost Smith, 75, Tampa, Fla., formerly of Warren County, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 9, 2011. Mrs. Smith was born Nov. 12, 1935, in St. Louis. She was united in marriage to Herbert L. Smith on Nov. 11, 1972. Carolyn was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by two daughters, Lynnette Sanders DuPont and husband Brian, Tampa, Fla., and Brenda Reilly and husband Robert, Hoddeson, England; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Maybelle Norton; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. A private family gathering was held July 9 in Tampa, Fla. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Jack White 1935-2011 Jack White, 76, High Hill, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011, at his home. Mr. White was born Feb. 10, 1935, in Buell, the son of Roy White and wife Goldie, nee Seal. He was united in marriage to Joyce Hall at Franklin Hall Christian Church in Montgomery City on Dec. 14, 1957. They celebrated 53 years of marriage. Mr. White worked for many years for Prairing Milling in Montgomery City and Co-op in Bellflower. He was a member of Jonesburg Masonic Lodge 457 and the Christian Church in Montgomery City. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and eight brothers. Mr. White is survived by his wife, Joyce White, High Hill; five daughters, Brenda White Young, Montgomery City, Linda Tate, New Florence, Judy Butler, Mexico, Mo., Patty Fidler, Middletown, and Nancy Bergen, Jones, Mich.; his stepmother, Helen Hart, Arkansas state; five brothers; five sisters; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. A gathering of friends was held Wednesday, July 6, at Harding Funeral Home, Jonesburg. Cremation services were provided by Harding Funeral Home. Interment will be held at a later date. The family was served by Harding Funeral Home, Jonesburg. Virgil W. Handlang 1925 2011 Virgil William Handlang, 85, Warrenton, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Warrenton Manor in Wright City. Mr. Handlang was born Sept. 14, 1925, in Warren County, the son of Louis Handlang and wife Clara, nee Dusenberg. He was united in marriage to Geraldine Nugent on Jan. 1, 1949. They celebrated 43 1/2 years of marriage. Mr. Handlang served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Hoisting Engineers Local 513 for 65 years. Virgil loved to fish on Bull Shoals Lake in Arkansas. He spent most of his life in the St. Charles area until he moved to Warrenton in 1996. He enjoyed the company of his friends at the Flying J restaurant. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Geraldine, who passed away July 12, 1992, and one sister, Ora Gerard. Mr. Handlang is survived by two first cousins, Melvin Handlang and wife Joyce, Warrenton, and Gary Handlang, Truxton; two godsons, John Handlang, Warrenton, and Virgil Kent Jefferies, Ashland; other relatives and many friends. A gathering was held Sunday, July 10, at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Burial was private. Memorials to Lippstadt Cemetery in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Bader, 76, Rhineland, were held Monday, July 11, at St. Martin's Church, Starkenburg. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Bader died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Hermann Area District Hospital, Hermann. He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Rose Bader, nee Weber; three sons, Leo Bader and wife Melissa, Arthur Bader and wife Bernadette, and Donald Bader and wife Aimee; three daughters, Patricia Koelling and husband Keith, Nancy Gabathuler and husband John, and Susan Ehlenbeck and husband Bill; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann. Funeral services for Clarence Gustave Gerdiman, 91, Defiance, were held Monday, July 11, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Burial was in Bethany United Church of Christ Cemetery, Schluersburg. Mr. Gerdiman died Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Cedarcrest Manor, Washington. He is survived by one brother, Carl Gerdiman and wife Ida; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Funeral services for Walter Charles Arcynski, 90, Mexico, Mo., were held Tuesday, July 12, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Wentzville. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis. Mr. Arcynski died Friday, July 8, 2011, at Missouri Veterans Home, Mexico, Mo. He is survived by two daughters, Jayne Elliott and husband Dan, and Jeanne Besselsen and husband Don; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
