Addie W. Bunge
Addie Wilhelmine Bunge, 95, Marthasville, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010, at St. John's Mercy Hospital, Washington.
Mrs. Bunge was born March 1, 1915, in Warren County, the daughter of Frank Dothage and wife Emma, nee Brandt.
On April 18, 1936, in Warren County, she was united in marriage to Henry W. Bunge. They celebrated 61 years of marriages.
Mrs. Bunge was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Pinckney and the Ladies' Aid. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery and the outdoors in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry, on July 12, 1997, one daughter-in-law, Shirley Bunge, three brothers, Howard, Orville and Elger, one sister, Grace Gloe, one grandson, Kenneth Marschel, and twin great-grandsons, Tyler and Gabril Owenby.
Mrs. Bunge is survived by one son, Jerome Bunge and wife Walean, Marthasville; two daughters, Joyce Handlang and husband Melvin, Warrenton, and Sandra Marschel and husband Alfred, Marthasville; two brothers, Burton Dothage and Roy Dothage and wife Robbye, all of Warrenton; 17 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Pinckney with the Rev. Darryl Bockting officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials to the church cemetery fund in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
