Funeral services for John M. Whiren, 82, Warrenton, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Burial will be in Warrenton City Cemetery. Mr. Whiren died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, in O'Fallon. He is survived by his wife, Mary Whiren, St. Charles; five sons, Milton A. Whiren, Michigan state, David Whiren, Huntsville, Ala., Mike Whiren, Arkansas state, Oliver "Bill" Lienhard, and James Lienhard, both of O'Fallon; one daughter, Linda Koch, St. Charles; other relatives and friends.
