Leona M. Buescher Leona Matilda Buescher, 94, Washington, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at St. John's Mercy Hospital, Washington. Mrs. Buescher was born May 1, 1916, in St. Louis, the daughter of John Majer and wife Matilda, nee Petersmeyer. She was united in marriage to Gilbert A. Buescher on June 18, 1938, in Holstein. They celebrated 63 years of marriage. Mrs. Buescher was a homemaker who loved tending to her family. She was a member of Immanuels United Church of Christ in Holstein. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband who died March 7, 2002, two brothers, Alfred and Henry, and three sisters, Cora Ackman, Esther Held and Matilda Parker. Mrs. Buescher is survived by two sons, G.A. Buescher II and wife Jean, Naperville, Ill., and Tom Buescher and wife Carol, Washington; one daughter, Suzanne Fickes and husband Dan, Holiday, Fla.; four grandchildren, Gilbert III, Kimberly, Jeffery and Samuel; seven great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Matthew, Emily Katherine, Nathan, Emily Anne, Anna Rose and Rachael; other relatives and many dear friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Immanuels United Church of Christ in Holstein. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family was served by Lichtenberg-Martin Funeral Home, Marthasville.   Visitation for Patricia Ann Bottoms, Warrenton, will be held Friday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.   Funeral services for Gail F. Detraz, 53, Wright City, were held Monday, Jan. 31, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Mrs. Detraz died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis. She is survived by her mother, June Rothwell; her husband, Terry Detraz; one son, Josh Marshall; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.   Funeral services for Roberta A. Green, 58, Warrenton, were held Friday, Jan. 28, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Mrs. Green died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at her home. She is survived by her mother, Mary Lou Sago, nee Carroll; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.   Visitation for Edward Robert Lee, 96, Warrenton, will be held Friday, Feb. 4, from 4-8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47, Warrenton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Lee died Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at his home. He is survived by one son, Robert "Butch" Lee and wife Joan; two daughters, Dina McClenning and husband Gerry, and Sandy Davis and husband Dennis; other relatives and many friends. The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
