Obituaries for Thursday, December 3 Edition Preston D. Love Sr. 1938-2009 Preston Delane Love Sr., 71, Wright City, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at the Village of St. Peters in St. Peters. Mr. Love was born Aug. 11, 1938, in Commerce, Ga., the son of James Love and wife Renee, nee Westbrooke. On May 23, 1959, in St. Louis, he was united in marriage to Jennie Noto. Mr. Love served his country in the U.S. Army. He had been employed at General Motors as an auto worker for 47 years. Mr. Love was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Westbrooke, and one sister, Faye Bradbury. He is survived by his wife, Jennie Love, Wright City; two sons, Preston D. Love Jr., O'Fallon, and Mike Love and wife MaryAnn, Warrenton; one daughter, Pam Love, Wright City; one granddaughter, Emily Rose; three brothers, Benny, Roger and Kemp Love, Georgia state; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Burial will follow at Wright City Cemetery. Memorials to American Liver Foundation in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred. The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Georgia C. Shoemake 1947-2009 Georgia C. Shoemake, 62, Warrenton, passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles after a short illness. Mrs. Shoemake was born Sept. 1, 1947, in St. Louis, the daughter of George Davis and wife Grace, nee Brown. On July 5, 1965, in St. Louis, she was united in marriage to William T. Shoemake. Mrs. Shoemake was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William (Bill) Shoemake, who passed away on May 6, 2004, and one sister, Penny Blaylock. Mrs. Shoemake is survived by one son, Bill Shoemake, and one daughter, Chrissy Groeber and husband Mark, all of Warrenton; two grandsons, Billy Shoemake, Washington, and Christopher Groeber, Warrenton; three sisters, Connie Morgan, Wright City, Pat Bockover, St. Louis, and Trina Glass, Warrenton; other relatives and many friends. A celebration of life was held Sunday, Nov. 29, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Warrenton. Memorial services followed. Memorials to the family in care of Harding Funeral Home, P.O. Frauenhoffer, 90, Jonesburg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at the Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab in Jonesburg. Mrs. Frauenhoffer was born Feb. 27, 1919, in Mexico, Mo., the daughter of Fritz Kasmann and wife Cora, nee Stoneberger. On July 19, 1952, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jonesburg, she was united in marriage to John Frauenhoffer. Mrs. Frauenhoffer was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Jonesburg, and the Jonesburg Red Hatters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, one sister, Mary Kasmann, and one brother, John Kasmann. Mrs. Frauenhoffer is survived by one son, Steve Frauenhoffer and wife Lisa, and one daughter, Ruth Ann Devenport and husband Curt, all of Jonesburg; one granddaughter, Danielle Devenport, and one great-grandson, Frankie Bush, both of Wellsville; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 28, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Jonesburg. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Memorials to the church in care of Harding Funeral Home, P.O. Brehe 1913-2009 Blanche Clara Brehe, 96, Marthasville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at New Haven Care Center, New Haven. Mrs. Brehe was born Aug. 8, 1913, in Marthasville, the daughter of Antone Ahmann and wife Christine, nee Muench. On Feb. 3, 1992, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Marthasville, she was united in marriage to Orie Lee McCarty. They delivered Meals on Wheels in the summertime. Mrs. Brehe was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She volunteered and worked at the Emmaus Home in Marthasville. She loved making quilts and playing cards. Mrs. Brehe was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Fred Brehe; four sisters, Lulu Friendly, Bernice Robinson, Emilie Messa and Ada Brehe; one step-son-in-law, Ronald Mergelmeyer; one stepgrandson, Gary Mergelmeyer. She is survived by her husband, Orie Lee McCarty; three stepdaughters, Donna Mergel-meyer and Wanda Diermann and husband Robert, all of Marthasville, and Cheryl Cline and husband Tom, Lyon; other relatives and many friends. She was a loving aunt, great-aunt and friend to all. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 24, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Marthasville, with the Rev. George Dohm officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Memorials to Emmaus Homes or to the church in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred. The family was served by Lichtenberg-Martin Funeral Home, Marthasville. Graveside services for Christine Marie Swiderski, 39, Warrenton, will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery, Ohio. Miss Swiderski died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009. She is survived by two brothers, Jim Swiderski and Phillip Swiderski; other relatives and many friends. The family is being served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services for Thomas Logan Neldon, one-month-old infant son of Adam Neldon and wife Beth, nee Blanton, Warrenton, were held Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wright City. Thomas passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, St. Louis. He is survived by his parents, Adam and Beth Neldon; his grandparents, Adrian and Jane Blanton, and Wayne and Dottie Neldon; other relatives and many family friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wright City.
