James Baller
1937 - 2010
James Baller, 73, Truxton, passed away at 8:19 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at home.
Mr. Baller was born Jan. 2, 1937, in Weeping Water, Neb., the son of Harvey Baller and wife Minnie A., nee Berner.
He was an engineer and employed by McDonnell Douglas as the director of Tomahawk Weapons Control Systems.
Mr. Baller is survived by his wife, Rosella Baller, Truxton; two sons, Carlo Sanfilippo and wife Kristine, Webster Groves, and Mark Sanfilippo and wife Jamie, St. Louis; two daughters, Pam Little and husband Tom, Arlington Heights, Ill., and Deborah Clark and husband Matt, Wentzville; his special friend, Jeff Finkelstein, Creve Coeur; two brothers, Neil Baller and wife Jackie, Troy, and Richard Baller and wife Anna Maria, Foristell; four grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at a later date on the family farm.
The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Connie L. Vehige
1953 - 2010
Connie L. Vehige, nee Schulte, 57, Wentzville, passed away at 6:17 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at her home.
Mrs. Vehige was born March 17, 1953, in Wentzville, the daughter of Clete F. Schulte and wife Rita M., nee Wheat.
She was a homemaker and loved her pets.
Mrs. Vehige is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Vehige, Wentzville; one daughter, Amber Spatz and husband John, St. Charles; one brother, Tom Schulte, St. Charles; one sister, Pamela Moore, St. Charles; one sister-in-law, Mary Brown and husband Danny; one brother-in-law, Kelly Umfleet; her father-in-law, Leo Vehige; three grandsons, John Spatz III, Brett Spatz and J.T. Spatz; one nephew, Billy Scarlet; two great-nephews, Aidan Scarlet and Ty Scarlet; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; her mother; and one brother, Dennis Schulte.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 25, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville, with Monsignor Pat O'Laughlin officiating.
Burial was in Eternal Peace Cemetery, Wentzville.
Memorials to Humane Society or ASPCA in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385 are preferred.
The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
Charles Robert Cotton, 70, Warrenton, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab in Jonesburg.
Funeral services were private.
