Gladys Mae Ball 1928-2011 Gladys Mae Ball, 83, Wright City, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis. Mrs. Ball was born March 15, 1928, in Wright City, the daughter of Branch Sydnor and wife Frances, nee Welch. She was a dedicated caregiver. She was preceded in death by her parents, Branch and Frances Sydnor, her husband, Julius L. Ball Sr., two sons, Kent Beckmeyer and Edwin Ball, five brothers, Horace Sydnor, Frank Sydnor, Elm Sydnor, Hawk Sydnor and Bill Sydnor; three sisters, Viivan G. White, Goldie Glover and Leona Sydnor. Mrs. Ball is survived by three sons, Julius L. Ball Jr. and James Beckmeyer and wife Kristen, all of Wright City, and Kurt Beckmeyer and wife Jeanne, Los Angeles, Calif.; one daughter, Sonda Ball, Wright City; one sister, Bernice Wyatt and husband Eugene, Wright City; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held Friday, May 20, from 4-9 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 21, at 1 p.m. at Wesley-Smith Chapel, Wright City, with burial in the church cemetery. The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Lisa Jo Cole 1960-2011 Lisa Jo Cole, 50, Warrenton, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Cole was born July 11, 1960, in St. Charles, the daughter of Wade Evans and wife Mary, nee Cope. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her father, Wade Evans. She is survived by her mother, Mary Evans, Warrenton; her husband Gary Cole, Warrenton; one daughter, Feather Matthews and husband Jeramy, Barnhart; one brother, Todd Evans, Warrenton; three grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Sylvia Marie Blasko 1918-2011 Sylvia Marie Blasko, 92, Marthasville, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Blasko was born June 23, 1918, in St. Louis, the daughter of Daniel Wendt and wife Lisette, nee Brinkmeyer. She was united in marriage to John Joseph Blasko on Oct. 22, 1938, in St. Louis. Mrs. Blasko was a homemaker. She was a loving and dedicated mother. She enjoyed quilting and crafts in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, on Dec. 19, 1975, two sons, David Blasko and Neil Feeney, and two sisters, Fern Feeney and Melba Wendt. Mrs. Blasko is survived by five sons, Michael Blasko and wife Sandra, Marthasville, Steven Blasko and wife Cate, Webster Groves, Ervin Blasko and wife Patricia, Foristell, Kenny Blasko, Hannibal, and Tommy Blasko, Fulton; four daughters, Joyce Smoak and husband Andy, Charleston, S.C., Gloria Blasko and Ruth Johnson and husband David, all of Marthasville, and Dorothy Ferguson and husband Davey, Warrenton; one brother, Daniel Wendt, St. Louis; one sister, Laverne Albach, Mehlville; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. Wanda Joyce Rogers 1947-2011 Wanda Joyce Rogers, 63, Warrenton, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Rogers was born Dec. 22, 1947, in Delano, Calif., the daughter of Leamon Ginn and wife Jean, nee Maxwell. She was united in marriage to Gary Rogers on Jan. 14, 1995, in Laughlin, Nev. They celebrated 16 years of marriage. Mrs. Rogers worked as a crystal puller for MEMC until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Terry Ginn. Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Gary Rogers, Warrenton; three sons, Roy Johnston, Rock Spring, Wyo., Kevin Johnston, Wentzville, and Scott Johnston, Warrenton; one stepson, Jeffrey Rogers and wife Marilyn, Louisiana state; one stepdaughter, Lisa Merrell and husband William, Warrenton; one brother, Jerry Ginn, Quincy, Ill.; three sisters, her twin Rhonda Gendron, Warrenton, Kay Franzini, Las Vegas, Nev., and Bobbie James and husband Bill, Canton; eight grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. William Enoch Schloeman 1918-2011 William "Bill" Enoch Schloeman, 92, Jonesburg, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab. Mr. Schloeman was born July 23, 1918, the son of Enoch Schloeman and wife Carrie. After attending the local schools, Bill begin working as a car salesman. On July 25, 1939, he married the love of his life, Verneda C. Bebermeyer. The happy couple were blessed with two wonderful sons, Norman and Michael. Bill began selling farm equipment and was a natural with his warm smile and kind disposition. His career in sales made for an easy transition into politics. He was a former mayor of Wright City and former commissioner of Northern Warren County. It was during this time that Bill began working as a bank loan officer. He was also a charter member of Warrenton Wesleyan Church. Throughout it all, Bill thoroughly enjoyed farming and caring for his grain crops. The job and role that he held most sacred was that of husband, father and later grandfather. Bill's family was the center of his world and time spent with loved ones was always precious to him. Bill began selling farm equipment and was a natural with his warm smile and kind disposition. His career in sales made for an easy transition into politics. He was a former mayor of Wright City and former commissioner of Northern Warren County. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. Mr. Schloeman is survived by his wife Verneda Schloeman, Jonesburg; two sons, Norman Schloeman and wife Janice, Jonesburg, and Michael Schloeman and wife Jennifer, Warrenton; one grandson, William D. Schloeman and wife Susan, Warrenton; two granddaughters, Anita K. Fox and husband Mark, Wright City, and J. Michelle Palmer and husband James, Warrenton; nine great-grandchildren, Micaiah Fox, Caleb Fox, Adrianna Fox, Arianna Fox, Jeremiah Fox, Enoch Schloeman, Brenden Palmer, Cameron Palmer and Addison Palmer; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 14, at McCoy-Blossom Funeral and Cremation Center, Troy. Funeral services for Robert “Bob” G. Dothage, 61, Rich Fountain, formerly of Warrenton, were held Friday, May 13, at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Linn with the Rev. John Swatosh officiating. Mr. Dothage died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City. He is survived by his father, Burton F. Dothage, his wife Kathy, nee Barham, three daughters, Jana Dothage, Kate Rockwood and husband Ron, and Lee Dothage; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Morton Chapel, Linn. Funeral services for Stella M. West, 87, Wentzville, were held Wednesday, May 18, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Mrs. West died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Park Lane Nursing and Rehab, Wentzville. She is survived by one son, Gary West and wife Donna Jeanne; two daughters, Glenda Harris and Marty Schulte and husband Tom; other relatives and many friends.
