Frederick W. Bakameyer Frederick Walter "Fritz" Bakameyer, 72, a lifetime resident of Warrenton, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis. Mr. Bakameyer was born Oct. 15, 1938, in Warrenton, the son of Walter Frederick August Bakameyer and wife Ella Lydia, nee Schwerdt. He worked for Holland-Binkley in Warrenton. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ and the International Order of Oddfellows Lodge 285, both in Warrenton. Mr. Bakameyer was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ralph, and two brothers-in-law, Charles Leesmann and Merle Buxton. He is survived by two brothers, Lester Bakameyer and wife Sharon, Warrenton, and Harold Bakameyer and wife Phyllis, Marthasville; three sisters, Shirley Buxton and Edna Surls and husband Tom, all of Warrenton, and Irene Leesmann, Augusta; one sister-in-law, Betty Bakameyer, Warrenton; nieces, nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 29, at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton. Burial followed in Lippstadt Cemetery, Warrenton. Memorials to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred. The family was served by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
