Inez Emma Jones 1918-2011 Inez Emma Jones, 93, Warrenton, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011, at Jonesburg Nursing Rehab in Jonesburg. Mrs. Jones was born March 10, 1918, in Warren County, the daughter of Edward Petersmeyer and wife Mathilda, nee Sprick. She was united in marriage to Eugene Paul Jones on June 10, 1939, in Warren County. They celebrated 48 years of marriage. Mrs. Jones was a cook at Isabelle's Restaurant in Warrenton. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ and the Dorcas Society in Warrenton. She played the piano at Sunday school and gave lessons. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene, who passed away March 12, 1988, one brother, Clarence, two sisters, Erna and Vera, and one grandson-in-law, Kerry Mische. Mrs. Jones is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Pekarek and husband Donald, Slidell, La., Sharon Twiehaus and husband, Donald, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Peggy Jones, St. Louis; five grandchildren, Tim Pekarek, Greg Twiehaus and wife Whitney, Jeff Twiehaus and wife Cassi, Glenda Mische and Kendra Mooney; 14 great-grandchild-ren; six great-great-grandchild-ren; other relatives and many dear friends. Funeral services were held Monday, May 31, at Friedens United Church of Christ in Warrenton. Burial was in Lippstadt Cemetery, Warrenton. Meyer 1930-2011 Ivan Eugene Meyer, 80, Warrenton, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur. Mr. Meyer was born June 5, 1930, in Bingham, Ill., the son of Claude Meyer and wife Lucille, nee Asher. He was united in marriage to Angela Josephine Anderson on Nov. 18, 1950, in St. Louis. They celebrated 60 years of marriage. Mr. Meyer served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1953. He worked as a mechanical engineer at McDonnell Douglas. He retired in 1986 after working for 34 years. He was a member of Grace Bible Church in Warrenton. Mr. Meyer was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Don Meyer. He is survived by his wife, Angela Meyer, Warrenton; one son, John Eric Meyer and wife Jeanine, Troy; one daughter, Rebecca Robinson and husband Kerry, Anderson, Ind., one brother, Ed Meyer and wife Pat, Springfield; one sister, Amber Otke and husband Syl, Warrenton; one sister-in-law, Nancy Meyer, North Carolina state; four grandchildren, Angela Yoder and husband Mahlon, John Meyer, Kyle and Kameron Robinson; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 28, at Grace Bible Church, Warrenton. Burial was at Lippstadt Cemetery, Warrenton. Memorials to the church window fund in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Funeral services for Warren “Buzzy” Haller, 74, New Melle, were held Saturday, May 28, at St. John’s Family Life Center, Cappeln. Mr. Haller died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis. He is survived by his wife, Billie Ben Haller; two sons, Brent Haller and Tracey Schmidt and Brook Haller and wife Margo; one daughter, Brandee Joerling and husband Todd; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Funeral services for Mariam L. Strunk, 93, Wentzville, will be held Thursday, June 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Wentzville. Mrs. Strunk died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis. She is survived by four sons, Michael Strunk and wife Marion, Mark Strunk and wife Barb, Warren Strunk and wife Kathy, and Terry Strunk and wife Claire; eight daughters, Barbara Dunnermann, Alice Rosemann and husband Clarence, Judy Finley, Jon E. Boettler, Diana Brush, Mary Jean Karll and husband Dave, Marcia Dreisewerd, and Susan Burkemper and husband Melvin; other relatives and many friends.
