Barbara J. Baker-Lane 1951-2011 Barbara Jean Baker-Lane, nee Scheetz, 59, O'Fallon, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011. She was born Dec. 13, 1951, the daughter of John W. Scheetz and wife Marjorie. Mrs. Baker-Lane loved games, playing cards, collecting turtles and was a member of the International Association of Turtles, Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Scheetz and wife Marjorie. Mrs. Baker-Lane is survived by her husband, Robert Baker; one sister, Patricia Ann Guerra and husband Juan; one brother, John W. Scheetz Jr. and wife Carrie; three nieces, Cynthia Ann Lehman, Nicole L. Scheetz and Kristin A. Lane; five nephews, Jose A. Guerra, William D. Guerra, Zachary A. Scheetz, Gordon D. Lane and Christopher M. Lane; two step-children; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 26, at Baue Funeral Home Chapel, O'Fallon. Gene J. Pauk 1919-2011 Gene, "Orgain J." Pauk, 92, Warrenton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab, Jonesburg. He was born April 18, 1919, in Marthasville, the son of Ernst Pauk and wife Emma, nee Edler. He was a machine operator at Binkley in Warrenton. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was awarded two bronze stars and and a purple heart for his service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pauk and wife Emma, nee Edler; two brothers, Ora and Warner; and one sister, Viola Pauk. Survivors include two sons, Roger Pauk and wife Barb, Independence, and Steve Pauk and wife Carole, Lake St. louis; three grandchildren, Ryan, Erin and James Pauk; other relatives and many friends. Visitation was held Monday, Nov, 28, at Martin Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Sue Talley-Pickens 1942-2011 Sue Talley-Pickens, 69, Warrenton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake Saint Louis. Mrs. Talley-Pickens was born March 15, 1942, in New Madrid County, the daughter of Raymond Gore and wife Bertha, nee Mays. She was a manager with the U.S. Air Force and a member of American Legion Post 122 and Am Vets, St. Peters. Mrs. Talley-Pickens was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Gore and wife Bertha, nee Mays; one son, David Lee Talley; two brothers, Alfred Gore and Jimmy "Buck" Gore; and two sisters, Mildred Coffer and Betty Rich. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth "Fred" Pickens, Warrenton; one son, Keith Allen Talley, Warrenton, three daughters, Desiree Talley, Warrenton, Glenda Mische, Lebanon, Kendra Mooney, St. Louis; three brothers, Richard Gore and wife Betty, Dupo, Ill, Bob Gore and wife Juanita, Wright City, and Dale Gore, Rector, Ark; three sisters, Sally White, Cape Girardeau, Diane Haney, Sikeston, and Joyce Johnson, Jefferson City; and two grandsons, Joshua and Jeremiah Mische. Box 126 Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Leonard M. Bass 1962-2011 Leonard Monroe Bass, 48, Warrenton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011. He was born Dec. 3, 1962, in St. Louis, the son of Everett Snider and wife Linda, nee Bass. Mr. Bass was a landscaper. He was preceded in death by his parents Snider and wife Linda, nee Bass; one brother, James “Jim” Bass; and one sister, Robin Flake. Survivors include two daughters; Linda and Emily Bass, both of Troy; one son, Maximus Bass, Warrenton; one brother; Butch Bass and wife Linda, Jonesburg; one sister, Stephanie Bass, Wright City; former wife, Cheryl Bass, Troy; companion, Gwenna Veal and daughter, Christina, Warrenton; the Gore family; other relatives and many friends. A gathering will be held Friday, Dec. 2, from 6-7 p.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, Warrenton. Sudbrock 1928-2011 Harold Elmer Sudbrock, 83, Wentzville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, in Hamburg, Mo. He was born April 24, 1928, the son of Harry Alvin Sudbrock and wife Mrytle. Mr. Sudbrock was a maintenance worker for Cuivre River Electric Co-Op and a member of MFA exchange in Wentzville for 20 years. He was a lifetime farmer and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, New Melle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Alvin Sudbrock and wife Mrytle; one daughter, Bonnie Sudbrock; one brother, John H. Sudbrock; and one sister, Berniece Kohler-Meyer. Mr. Sudbrock is survived by his wife, Marjorie Sherman Sudbrock, Wentzville; two sons, Leonard Sudbrock and wife Elaine, and Roger Sudbrock and wife Dianne, all of New Melle; two daughters, Wanda Schellert and husband William, and Connie Mittler and husband Paul, all of New Melle; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 30, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, New Melle. Burial was at the church cemetery. George E. Walker 1955-2011 George Edward Walker, 56, Wright City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital West, Lake St. Louis. He was born Oct. 20, 1955, in St. Charles, the son of James Walker and Wanda, nee Brown. On March 25, 1995, he was unite din marriage to Debra Dotson, in Warrenton. They celebrated 17 years of marriage and togetherness. He was a 1973 graduate of Wright City High School and served his country in the United States Navy. After the Navy, Mr. Walker traveled all over from Myrtle Beach, S.C. to Los Angeles, Calif. He returned to the Wright City area in 1993. He graduated from Vatterott College with an Associates degree in applied Electronics. He then worked for Cenved until the company closed in 2007. Mr. Walker most recently worked for Four Seasons Pool and Spa in St. Charles and Wentzville. will remember Mr. Walker for his infectious laugh and easy going and helpful actions and spirit. His humility and graciousness made everyone he came into contact with feel welcome and happy.  Please remember George when you raise a frosty glass of Busch. We will remember him as the love of our life. He was preceded in death by his father, James Walker; and aunt, Lovell Piatt. Survivors include his wife, Debra Walker, Wright City; one daughter, Mandy Pryor, Wright City; his mother, Wanda Pepper, Warrenton; one brother, Terry Walker, St. Charles; one grandson, Alexander Pryor; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Cantrell died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at her home. Mr. Ehll died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at Meadowlands Assisted Living, O'Fallon. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ehll, Wentzville; two sons, George H. Ehll Jr. and wife Kelly, Warrenton, and Michael Ehll, Wentzville; one daughter, Stephanie Ehll, Wentzville. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.     Funeral services for Harley Neal Wiatt, 84, Wright City, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville. Mr. Wiatt died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Missouri Veterans Home, St. Louis. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Wiatt, Wright City; and five daughters, Pamela Wheat and husband Karl, St. Charles, Nancy Hemeon and husband Kenneth, Wright City, Joanne Conklin and husband John, Florissant, Sandra Feldkamp and husband Brian, Wright City, and Mary Betts and husband James, St. Charles.
