Veta G. Krieger -1931 - 2009- Veta Gloria Krieger, 78, Williamsburg, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, at her home. Mrs. Krieger was born April 25, 1931, in West Alton, the daughter of James A. Rogers Sr. and wife Velma L., nee Gegg. She was a beautician. Mrs. Krieger was an artistic person who worked in various fields throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Krieger, three daughters, Gloria McKernon, Carolyn Lathim, and Kimberly Krieger, and one sister, Sandra Wooten. Mrs. Krieger is survived by one son, Thomas P. (Marilyn) Krieger, Pevely; two daughters, Jacqueline L. (Gary) Smith, Williamsburg, and Jayne R. (Steven) Peuster, Columbia; three brothers, James A. (Barbara) Rogers, Dale (Mary Lou) Rogers, all of St. Louis, and Brad (Sandy) Rogers, Warrenton; six sisters, June Humphrey, Barbara (Charles) Wiltshire, Joan (Robert) Lee, Judy Dunne, Randa Tinsley, and Stacy (David) Lamb, all of Warrenton; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis. Memorials to Fulton Assembly of God Building Fund in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO are preferred. The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Wilma M. Wolf Funeral services for Wilma M. Wolf, nee Schowengerdt, 83, Union, formerly of Morrison, were held Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Chamois United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wolf died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at Pacific Care Center, Pacific. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Wolf; two daughters, Brenda Buxton and husband Bob, and Diane Wolf; other relatives and many friends. The family was served by Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann. Edna B. Roettger Funeral services for Edna B. Roettger, 85, O'Fallon, were held Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Josephville. Mrs. Roettger died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at Twin Oaks Estate, O'Fallon. She is survived by one son, Donald (Bonnie) Roettger; two daughters, Linda K. (Joe) Schneider, and Marilyn A. (Tom) Weber; other relatives and many friends.
