As early as the week of August 4, a resurfacing project is scheduled to begin on 20 miles of eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 70, from 1.4 miles east of Route F in Montgomery County to east of Route MM in Warrenton in Warren County, weather permitting. This work will occur during the nighttime hours from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Motorists can expect the following traffic impacts where crews are actively working:
MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, message boards, news releases and social media. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
The $6.3M contract, awarded earlier this year to Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. of Columbia, Missouri. All work is expected to be completed by November 1, 2025.
