The North East Community Action Corporation and the University of Missouri Extension will host an informational meeting about health insurance and Affordable Care Act special enrollments on May 20.The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the University Extension office, 107 W. Walton in Warrenton.There is no cost and the public is encouraged to attend. Free refreshments will be served. Presenters will answer questions about health insurance and special enrollments.NECAC is providing information about the Affordable Care Act to residents in the Northeast Region consisting of Lewis, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Pike, Ralls, Shelby and Randolph counties and in the Metro St. Louis West Region consisting of St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren, Montgomery and Franklin counties.Funding for this project was provided by The Missouri Foundation for Health, a philanthropic organization whose vision is to improve the health of the people in the communities it serves.For more information, call Chris Merritt of University Extension at 636-456-3444 or Casey Burton of NECAC at 573-213-4812, extension 10318.NECAC to host health care meeting
