Users of AmazonSmile can now donate part of the price from purchases to the not-for-profit North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) for use in its 12-county service area.Amazon will donate a half-percent of the price from eligible purchase items to NECAC. There is no cost to customers who use AmazonSmile. Tens of millions of items are eligible for donations.NECAC will use proceeds in its social services, community health and public housing programs. Visitors to the AmazonSmile website at www.smile.amazon.com can select NECAC or other nonprofit organizations.The link to the website is also available on the NECAC Facebook page.
