Naomi Misemer

Mrs. Naomi Ruth Misemer (nee: Chitty) of Warrenton, passed away Wednesday, November 15. She was born December 17, 1939, in St. Louis, to the late Howard and Eunice (nee: Volk) Chitty. Naomi had reached the age of 83 years.

Naomi was a dedicated Christian and child of God. She enjoyed her church and church family. She was active in her church through the ministry of music, playing the organ and singing. Naomi was employed by the government for many years. She was united in marriage to Lester Misemer on January 30, 1990. They were happily married for over 33 years. Naomi was an incredible cook, she loved to cook for her family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing and canning fruits and vegetables. Naomi was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.

Naomi Misemer was preceded in death by her parents, Howard, and Eunice Chitty; two brothers, Harold Nevinger and Bill Chitty. Surviving family members include her husband, Lester Misemer; her children, Kenneth Misemer and Linda Hill and husband Randy; one sister, Mary Bullock and husband David; one brother, David Paul Chitty; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Naomi's family will be hosting a celebration of her life with a visitation on Tuesday, November 21, from 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. They will then host a celebration of life service on Wednesday, November 22,  at 10 A.M. also at the funeral home. A burial will follow at the Warrenton City Cemetery.  Memorial donations made in honor of Naomi Misemer is suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
