The Warren County Senior Center provides services for the area’s senior citizens. Its main focus is making meals available to seniors at the senior center and through the Meals on Wheels program.
The center receives some public funding and relies on donations to meet costs.
“Most of the time our fundraisers are for operations and to cover meal costs,” said Stefanski. “This is one of the biggest fundraising events.”
She said the goal is to sell out, which would be 60 tickets.
In past years, pasta has been served at the event. This year, they are serving meatloaf right from the senior center’s regular menu.
“The reason we did meatloaf is because it’s one of the favorite meals here at the senior center,” Stefanski said.
Organizers are hoping for a good turnout.
“We’ve been blessed several years with Brenda Sue,” Stefanski said. “It’s good food, good entertainment, a fun night, and serves a great cause.”
