The trial for Ashley N. Hunter, a Foristell woman charged with murder for the killing of her husband, has been postponed.The trial had been scheduled to begin Jan. 22 in the Warren County Circuit Court. The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office requested a continuance Jan. 8. Presiding Judge Wes Dalton granted the request, against the objection of Hunter’s attorney.A new date for the trial has not yet been scheduled.Hunter, 30, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action after allegedly shooting and killing her husband, Nicholas Hunter, Jan. 15, 2015.Authorities at the time said Ashley Hunter called 911 at 7:52 p.m. to report she had been involved in an argument with her husband and that she had shot him in the chest.She pleaded not guilty to the charges in July 2015 and has been in custody since.Ashley Hunter
