Ms. Emma Lee Williams (nee: Coleman) of Warrenton, MO., met her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 10, 2021. She was a lifelong resident of Warren County, being born on August 2, 1927, to the late Lee and Nellie (nee: Young) Coleman. Emma Lee had reached the age of 93 years.

Emma Lee was a long-time member of the Warrenton Wesleyan Church in Warrenton. She served as the secretary at the church for many years. She was also a Sunday school teacher, youth leader, and on the church board. Emma Lee was also involved as the chairman and coordinator of the National Day of Prayer at the church. She was married for 26 years to James R. Williams and was a very loving mother to their three children, Lynnelle, Nelson, and Melanie. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years. Emma Lee worked at various jobs over the years, doing secretarial work. She was employed at Martin Funeral Home for many years as well. She loved her family very much and she loved the Lord. She lived a very faithful life. Emma Lee was a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend to many.

Emma Lee Williams was preceded in death by her three children; James Nelson Williams, Lynnelle Andrews, and Melanie Williams; her parents, Lee and Nellie Coleman; four siblings, George Coleman, Phillip Coleman, Juanita Wynn, and James Coleman. Those who are grateful for having shared in Emma Lee's life are her grandchildren, Lavender Irons, Sarah Hathaway, Zach Andrews, and wife Lindsey, Jeremy Mincke and wife Evelyn; 12 great-grandchildren, Shantel, Bladen, Jackson, Wesley, Noah, Faith, Eli, Riley, London, Preston, Emma, and Noah; one great-great-grandchild, Kenyon; one brother, David Coleman and wife Brenda; one sister in law, Allie Coleman; many nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Warrenton Wesleyan Church, 806 South State Hwy 47, Warrenton, MO 63383. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM also at the church. Burial will follow at the Jonesburg City Cemetery in Jonesburg, MO.
