Mrs. Rose Mary Corder (nee: Polston) a long time resident of Warrenton, MO., passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at the age of 90 years. She was born on January 5, 1930 in Granite City, IL., to the late Frank and Meta (nee: Gruenfeld) Polston.
Rose was married to Robert Thomas Corder Sr. on July 9, 1948 in Warrenton. To this union 6 children were born. Rose was a member of the Warrenton Baptist Church for many years, where she helped in the nursery. Rose worked as a homemaker, raising her children. After her husband passed away in 2011, she began helping with Meals on Wheels at the Warren County Senior Center.
Rose Mary Corder was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; three children, Robert T. Corder Jr., Nancy Harlan, and Diana Rose Corder; granddaughter, Tracy Diana Harlan; and her parents, Frank and Meta Polston. She is survived by her children, George “Bill” Corder and wife Jolene, Larry Corder and wife Karen, and Jimmy Corder; three grandchildren, Kathy Harlan (Billy Newton), Chris Corder, Morgan Corder, 5 great grandchildren, Michelle, McKenzie, Makayla, Anthony, and Bryson; other relatives and many friends.
A visitation for Rose Mary Corder will be held on Wednesday August 26, 2020 at Martin Funeral Home, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorial donations are preferred to Agape of Warrenton or to Meals on Wheels, c/o Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main Street, Warrenton, MO 63383.
