Mrs. Joyce Anne Koetterheinrich (nee: Sanders) of Fort Meyers, Florida, formally of Warrenton, MO., passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021. She was born on December 15, 1948, in St. Charles, MO., to the late Charlie and Esther (nee: Dillon). Joyce had reached the age of 72 years.
Joyce was united in marriage to David Koetterheinrich on May 6, 1978. They celebrated 43 years of marriage together. Joyce enjoyed being pampered by her husband. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. A few of her favorite things were going to the beach, hanging out at the casino, drinking coffee or Moscato, while reading on her patio garden in Florida. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Esther. Those who are grateful for having shared in Joyce's life are the love of her life, David; her three children, Kimberly Woods and husband Kevin, Gary Goessling and wife Jessica, Angie Mirth and husband Mike; 16 beloved grandchildren, Hannah, Hope, Taylor, Morgan, Gage, Michael, Devon, Garrett, Jimmy, Matt, Chase, Paige, Jake, Jocelyn, Wyatt, and Emersyn; 4 great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Khan, Laiklynn, and Scout; one sister, Sherry Tracer and husband Steve; one brother, Gary Sanders; other relatives and many friends. Joyce will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Cedar Lake Winery, 11008 Schreckengast Rd, Wright City, MO 63390.
