A 75-year-old Wentzville was killed Wednesday, June 10, in a crash on the North Outer Road of Interstate 70 near St. Paul Avenue in Warren County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the driver as Gary R. Duckett. According to the preliminary crash report, Duckett was driving a 2005 Honda CMX250C west on the outer road.
An eastbound 1998 Dodge Durango driven by Vincent S. Travis, 23, of Wright City, made a left turn and traveled into the path of Duckett's motorcycle, the patrol said. The collision caused the motorcycle to overturn and Duckett was ejected.
The crash was reported at 1:48 p.m. Duckett was pronounced dead at 2:48 at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis.
