For the second year in a row, Wright City sophomore Morgan Nute has punched her ticket to the girls golf Class 2 State Championship that will take place at the Fremont Hills Country Club on Oct. 21-22.
Nute earned her spot at state after competing in the Class 2, District 1 Tournament on Oct. 14.
Nute placed fourth overall and ended the round with a score of six-over-par 78.
As a team, Wright City placed 11th with a score of 500. Abby Schanuel placed 54th with a score of 133. Alexa Robertson placed 58th with a score of 141. Rylee Schaefer placed 60th with a score of 148 and Zucely Uribe placed 64th with a score of 172.
