Crews working on the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project will begin concrete paving the new eastbound lanes of I-70 in Warren County on Friday, July 11. The pavement will begin just east of Route 47 and continue eastward to the Wright City Rest Area, between mile markers 194.2 to 197.6. Once this portion is complete, crews will shift to just east of Wright City progressing to the St. Charles County line, between mile markers 200.8 to 203. Concrete paving is expected to continue over the next several weeks and all work is weather permitting.
To facilitate the work, concrete deliveries will be made along Veterans Memorial Parkway. For the safety of the construction crews and traveling public, Veterans Memorial Parkway will be reduced to one lane with flaggers present between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM where workers are active.
