Crews with the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project will be installing a barrier wall on the shoulders of eastbound and westbound Interstate 70 at the Foristell interchange starting Thursday, July 10. All work is weather permitting.
Both westbound and eastbound lanes will remain the standard 12-foot lane width. Crews will be working behind the barrier wall to begin the construction of the new bridges for the Foristell interchange improvements to accommodate a third lane in each direction of I-70. The speed limit in this work zone will be reduced to 60 miles per hour.
This work is part of the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project covering the eastern portion of I-70. It was awarded in November 2024. Construction is tentatively set to take place 2025-28.
