Crews with the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project will close the westbound Interstate 70 exit ramp (exit 1A) from westbound Interstate 64 at the I-70/I-64/U.S. Route 61 interchange overnight Monday, October 26 and Tuesday, October 27 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The southbound Route 61 exit ramp to westbound I-70 also will be closed for short 15-minute durations from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Crews will be setting bridge girders into place for a new westbound I-70 ramp to Route Z. Westbound I-64 traffic wishing to travel west on I-70 will detour to Route A to access westbound I-70. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to pay attention in work zones, drive the posted work zone speed limit, and allow extra time for travel. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
