Crews with the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project will close all lanes of westbound Interstate 70 at Route Z for short 15-minute durations starting Monday, May 11 for rock excavation. All work is weather permitting.
The intermittent interstate closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays for a three-week period at the westbound I-70 and Route Z exit ramp. There will be 1-3 closure occurrences per day on I-70 and on Route Z.
This work is part of the widening of Interstate 70, adding a third lane in each direction between Warrenton and Wentzville.
