Drivers should be prepared for two road construction projects involving Interstate 70 this week, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Oct. 1, a lane restriction will be in place along Route A/Route B along the exit 188 overpass. The lane restriction will be in place until 5 p.m. Oct. 4.
A lane restriction will also be in place on eastbound Interstate 70 from mile marker 187.8 to mile marker 188.2 beginning at 8 p.m. Oct. MoDOT says it will be in place until 3 a.m. Oct. 3.
That lane restriction will move to the westbound lanes from the same mile markers beginning at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 and continuing through 3 a.m. Oct. 4.
All three projects will allow crews to perform maintenance on the overpass.
