A 53-year-old Mississippi man was transported to the hospital after the tractor-trailer he was driving overturned in the Interstate 70 construction zone near the Stracks Church Road overpass Monday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the man sustained moderate injuries. The crash occurred at 6:37 p.m. The semi struck a concrete barrier on the right side of the interstate, causing the driver to lose control and travel off the roadway.
The patrol said the driver was wearing a seat belt.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of the occupants involved in injury crashes.
