At noon today, Wednesday, July 30, MoDOT and its contractor will open MO 47 south of Warrenton at Hopewell Hill in Warren County.The new mile section of MO 47 includes 11 foot lanes with 4 foot paved shoulders. The pavement has been widened up to 3 1/2 feet on the inside of the curves and the 12 existing curves have been softened into 3 curves, and edge line rumble stripes have been added to increase safety.With the majority of the work completed, crews will continue to monitor temporary erosion control and it will be removed once vegetation has taken hold. H.R.
