The Missouri Wine and Grape Board announces the launch of the Missouri Winery Visitors’ Program (MVP).MVP encourages consumers to visit Missouri wineries to collect points in order to earn rewards. The program is free to participate and will officially launch Sept 1, in conjunction with Missouri Wine Month.Participating wineries will hand out MVP tickets at their tasting rooms, each with a unique code, which winery visitors can collect upon each visit. These codes are then entered into the user’s MVP account on MissouriWineMVP.com for points. The first visit to a winery will earn visitors 500 points; visits two through 10 to that same winery collect 100 points, and all subsequent visits to that same winery accrue 10 points each. The more wineries visited, the more points you can earn. Points are redeemable for rewards on the MVP website.Rewards will include wine-themed merchandise, wine experiences and quarterly sweepstakes.“The best strategy to earn points for rewards is to explore Missouri wine country,” Executive Director Jim Anderson said. “By visiting new wineries throughout the state, you’ll not only earn more points, but you will also discover great wineries and award-winning wines along the way.”Those interested in becoming an MVP can register for the program at MissouriWineMVP.com. Once registered, MVPs will receive a welcome packet with a map, program information and a special gift. All MVP points must be redeemed by Dec. 31, 2017.
