The Missouri Department of Agriculture Animal Care Facilities Act Program announces recipients of spay and neuter grants. Grant funds are designated to eligible organizations that provide low-cost spaying and/or neutering of dogs and cats for individuals who could not normally afford those services.
Donations from the sale of “I’m Pet Friendly” specialty license plates generate the grant money awarded to Missouri organizations. The goal of the “I’m Pet Friendly” fund is to provide grants to nonprofit organizations or governmental agencies to enable spaying and neutering of dogs and cats in order to reduce the surplus of these animals in Missouri. Grants are distributed to selected agencies for their efforts through local and regional spay and neuter initiatives.
The following agencies have been awarded a Missouri Spay & Neuter Grant in 2024:

Upon obtaining an emblem use authorization, contact the Missouri Department of Revenue to renew or change your plates.
