A 60-year-old man from Andover, Minn. was seriously injured in a car accident traveling east on Interstate 70 near the 191 mile marker in Warren County on the afternoon of Jan. 20, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to the patrol, he failed to negotiate a left turn in his semi truck and traveled off the right side of the road. From there he broke through the separator on the shoulder, traveled across the south outer road and struck a concrete retaining wall where his vehicle overturned.
He was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis via ambulance.
He was wearing his seat belt during the accident.
